Iola Blanche Fuller, 90, of Plattsmouth died Friday, May 9, 2008, at NHS University Hospital in Omaha.
She was born April 13, 1918, in Syracuse to Claude William and Amy Leona (Barrett) Masters.
On July 31, 1937, she married Raymond Elwood Fuller in Papillion.
Iola was raised and schooled in Western Cass and eastern Lancaster counties of Nebraska. She graduated from Waverly High School in 1935. Iola worked for a time but, on a blind date, met and later married Raymond E. Fuller. The Fullers made their home in Lincoln and then Beatrice from 1951 to 1954. In 1954 they moved to Plattsmouth where she worked in the Cass County Assessor’s office from 1954 to 1974. Ray passed away May 29, 1971. She married Karl Neumeister of Weeping Water on Feb. 23, 1974; they later divorced. Iola worked at the Nehawka Bank from 1974 to 1990 as their insurance agent of record. She retired and lived in Nehawka until she moved to Plattsmouth in 2005.
Iola was a Golden Eagle of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary to Aerie 365 of Plattsmouth.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Cindy Fuller, Plattsmouth; daughters, Yvonne Bock, Niwot, Colo.; Sherry L. Keil, Longmont, Colo.; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and June Masters, Bismarck, Ark.; sisters and brother-in-law, Irene Hanner, Lincoln; Vivian and Gayle Parker, Syracuse; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Raymond Fuller; brothers, Earl, Don and Dale Masters; and sister, Phyllis Heather.
Graveside service was conducted at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, on Wednesday, May 14, with Pastor Michael McGregor officiating. Bobbie Jo Fuller will provide vocal music.
Pallbearers were Craig Bock, Steve Bock, Jamie Bock, Bob Fuller, Chad Fuller, Rusty Fuller and Scott Keil.
