CowboyUp!  Band will cap off Saturday’s fair activities with a performance at 8 p.m. in the Open Air Auditorium.

The band is a high- energy, Top 40 Country cover band that also tosses out some of the best classic country and country rock songs with three- and four-part harmony vocals.

The band consists of Cass County’s own Earl “Duke” Schenck on lead vocals and rhythm guitar along with Doug Dexter, lead guitar/vocals; Al Znamenacek, drums; Reggie Evans, lead vocals; and Bill Ferleman, bass guitar/vocals/harmonica.

This five-piece band from the Omaha and Lincoln area has more than 50 years of stage experience and focuses on providing great dance music you can also sing along to.

Whether it’s Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues,” George Strait’s “I Saw God Today” or Van Morrison’s “Brown-Eyed Girl, they will have  your toes tappin’ and hands clappin’ for the entire show.

Other new songs in their repertoire include Chris Cagle’s “What Kind of Gone,” John Turner’s “Firecracker,” Craig Morgan’s “International Harvester” and Brad Paisley’s “I’m Still a Guy.”
