Carroll E. Gleason, 82, of Plattsmouth died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Golden Living Center in Plattsmouth.

He was born June 9, 1926, to Thomas and Nellie (Martin) Gleason in Page County, Iowa.

In 1967 he married Carolyn Pfingsten in Pawnee City.

Carroll was retired from E.A. Patterson Co. of Ralston where he worked as construction manager/cost estimator. He was a member of Lepert-Wolever VFW Post 2543 and F.O.E. 365, both of Plattsmouth.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Gleason of Plattsmouth; son, Patrick Gleason and wife Kelly of Valrico, Fla.; grandson, Kevin Gleason of Valrico; granddaughter, Kelley Gleason of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Nellie Gleason.

No public funeral services conducted.
