JOANNE RUCKMAN

Joanne A. Ruckman, age 73, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away Aug. 4, 2008, at Bethany Lutheran Home in Council Bluffs. Joanne was born July 21, 1935, in Omaha to the late William and Mary (Adams) Wetenkamp. She graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1953. Joanne was a homemaker and a member of New Life Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her sons, Steven and Arthur Hull. Joanne is survived by her husband of 37 years, Victor Ruckman of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Jennifer Hull of Omaha; Travis Hull of Niceville, Fla.; Sarah Hull of Lincoln; sister, Marlene Drexel and husband Lou of Vista, Calif.; brother, William Wetenkamp and wife Mary of Sun City, Ariz.; foster son, Rocky Robbins of Lancaster, Ohio; nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family, Friday 6-8 p.m. at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral service, Saturday 9 a.m. at the mortuary with the Rev. David Leggett, Pastor of New Life Fellowship, officiating. Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth. The family will direct memorials.
