An open house is planned for Ron and Mary (Rockefeller) Nelson of Kearney in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were teachers at Plattsmouth Community Schools until their retirement in 1996.
They were married Sept. 7, 1958, at the Methodist Church in Gibbon.
The open house will be from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sept. 7, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church in Kearney.
