PLATTSMOUTH - Cass County Sheriff's deputies and Plattsmouth Fire and Rescue were called to a one-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 66 west of Sixth Street. A vehicle driven by Amy C. Morrison, 42, of Lincoln was traveling west on Highway 66 when it left the roadway, turned over twice and landed in a cornfield on the south side of the highway. Morrison was pinned under the vehicle and had to be freed by Plattsmouth Rescue. Morrison was flown by medical helicopter to Creighton University Medical Center with a leg injury. Investigators believe driver inattention was a factor in the accident. Both lanes of Highway 66 were closed because of the accident and to allow the medical helicopter to land on the highway. Highway 66 was closed from Sixth Street to 24th St.
