Boat struck

BEAVER LAKE - A collision between a boat and a jet ski caused some damage to the both vessels, but no one was injured.

Cass County Sheriff's deputies and Murray Fire and Rescue were called to Beaver Lake about 2:20 p.m. Aug. 24. A boat had been pulling a skier behind it when a jet ski collided with the boat. Everyone was able to get to shore safely.

A Hazmat team was brought in because the boat taking on water and fuel was leaking into Beaver Lake. The accident is still under investigation.
