COUNCIL BLUFFS - Three Plattsmouth residents completed the Black Squirrel Triathlon at Lake Manawa State Park in Council Bluffs Saturday.
Todd Nott finished ninth overall in 1:52:07. Damon Wagner was 45th in 2:09:15 and Steve Barr was 63rd in 2:16:06. Competitors swam 1,000 yards, biked 18.29 miles and ran 6.34 miles during the event. A total of 133 individuals and 15 three-person teams finished the triathlon.
Brady Murphy of Omaha was the overall winner in 1:43:48.
Nott was the third-fastest runner in the event. He completed the running portion in 40:30 to average 6:24 per mile.
