Local teams to hold scrimmages - UPDATED

Fall sports teams at all five Cass County schools will give fans a preview of the 2008 season when they hold scrimmages over the next two weeks.

An updated list of scheduled scrimmages is as follows:

Plattsmouth

• Softball scrimmage - 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at PHS softball field

• Football scrimmage - 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Old Blue Devil Stadium in downtown Plattsmouth. Admission is a Gatorade.

• Volleyball scrimmage - 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at PHS gym. Admission is a Gatorade.

Louisville

• Football shampoo/soap scrimmage - 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, at LHS football field

• Volleyball scrimmage - 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at LHS gym

Cass County Central softball (Louisville/Weeping Water)

• Sunflower seed scrimmage - 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Weeping Water ballfields

Conestoga

• Football scrimmage - 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at CHS football field

• Volleyball scrimmage - 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at CHS gym

Elmwood-Murdock

• Football soap scrimmage - 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at E-M football field

Weeping Water

• Football sports drink scrimmage - 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at WWHS football field. Admission is a Gatorade.
