Students from all five Cass County schools displayed their musical skills for judges at district music contests in Yutan and Nebraska City this past weekend.

Plattsmouth students competed in the Class A District 2 contest and Conestoga, Elmwood-Murdock, Louisville and Weeping Water participated in the Class C District 2 contest. Judges awarded instrumental and vocal music students ratings of I (superior), II (excellent) or III (good) for their solo, small group and large group performances. Outstanding performances received a I+ rating.
