Area teams to start seasons Thursday, Friday

Area softball, football and girls golf teams will kick off their 2008 seasons Thursday and Friday across southeast Nebraska.

PHS volleyball team to hold scrimmage Thursday

PLATTSMOUTH - Plattsmouth High School's volleyball team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage beginning at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The scrimmage will be in the high school gym. Admission is a bottle of Gatorade or other sports drink.

Fall sports teams at all five Cass County schools will give fans a preview of the 2008 season when they hold scrimmages over the next two weeks.
